Using Homeopathy with Hypnotherapy for stop smoking and constipation

Hypnotherapy is a great therapy for many who wish to overcome hurdles created by their mind. However, as a trained homeopath I can’t help it but recommend homeopathic remedies along side hypnosis 😉

Some positive examples are:
5 year old child who wets the bed and suffers from chronic constipation came to see me recently.
It took two hypnosis sessions and the homeopathic remedy
Calc Carb to get things moving successfully 😉
In fact, only 10 minutes after having given the remedy in clinic, the girl ask to go to the toilet. Dad reported back great results over the following days.
The hypnosis approach combined with homeopathy appeared to help with the constipation and bed wetting in a short period of time. The girl has been on long term laxatives from the doctor and the parents were hoping for a better alternative.
Homeopathy triggers self healing ability and hypnosis was a great tool to tap into the subconscious mind with metaphors and stories about animal characters going through the same thing with a happy ending 😉

A lady in her mid forties saw me to stop smoking and after the initial pre-talk it became clear that she suffered many losses in her life. She held onto cigarettes due to stress and grief.
Hypnosis created new habits of the advantages of being a non smoker now and formed new go to activities in stress situations.
A homeopathic remedy called Ignatia helped her cope with the grief about losing her daughter.

In addition she received 2 other homeopathic remedies to help with withdrawal symptoms
It certainly supports a holistic treatment.

TEETH?
Stands for tried everything else try Hypnotherapy/ Homeopathy 😉
The majority of my clients see me as their last straw when they might have been able to tackle their hurdles a lot earlier.

I don’t diagnose anything and results vary.
All clients have been educated and agreed to the above therapies.

Bedwetting / Enuresis

Just sharing amazing results with hypnosis/hypnotherapy for children who wet the bed…..

In my experience, children respond very well to hypnosis treatment for any kind of problems.

Reason being is that they still have a fantastic imagination which takes them to the right place and re programs their subconscious mind and allows positive changes for their future.

Ideally I see them at their home environment if possible.

Initially, I have a chat with the child, to establish what is going on and explain to them how common it is for kids to find it difficult to keep their bed dry. I make a point of never using the words “wet” or “wetting” the bed or bed wetting. I let the child make some suggestions about how to achieve a dry bed and what they could do if it hasn’t happen. Another useful tool is to hand out a “drink diary” and the recommendation not to drink after dinner (making sure they had enough fluids throughout the day though).

After this I guide them to a relaxed state/trance by letting them get comfortable , speaking in a soothing voice and taking them on their imaginary journey and get easy access to their subconscious mind.

Once the child appears in trance (half awake) I make positive suggestion with regards to how to successfully keep the bed dry and how wonderful it is and what a great achievement.

The ability to have sleepovers at their friends houses and so on….

I record an approx. 10-15 minute long hypnosis script/recording for them to listen to every night in bed. (if from a device, please switch it to airplane mode to stop EMR).

By listening to the recording the suggestions will be embedded even stronger and it is more likely that the new reality is achieved to keep the bed dry and stop wetting the bed.

Sometimes a second hypnosis session can be helpful, depending how responsive the child is.

The session is 60 minutes long. Home visits are available on the North Shore (Auckland) only.

If you would like your child to use this approach, feel free to contact me on 021 02245727 or email me to stefaniehomeopath@gmail.com

What is Clinical Hypnotherapy/Hypnosis?

The first and important thing I’d like to do is to demystify clinical Hypnotherapy/Hypnosis.
It is actually a natural state which we all experience many times per day.
Some examples for this are the following:

Day dreaming, driving on familiar roads, watching TV or other screens being mesmerized. Even the time before we nod off or before waking up, is a time of trance

So when you see a trained Hypnotherapist, he or she will guide you to this relaxed state/trance and a hypnotized person still hears everything and is in total control.
This is called an “induction” followed by a “deepener” and eventually re programming the sub conscious mind with affirmations and positive suggestions.
At the time of total relaxation we reach a meditative state and this is the time when our subconscious mind opens up, ready to take on board what it needs to hear to make positive changes for the future.

Our subconscious mind can’t differentiate between reality and imagination.Hence people who experience a panic attack experience symptoms and fear as if there were in real danger.

Our mind has two parts. The conscious mind and the subconscious mind. We are constantly aware of our conscious mind. We make decisions, we analyze situations, and we jump to conclusions with our conscious mind. It is very easy to feel that our conscious mind is all that there is, but scientists say the conscious mind is only about 10% of our thinking capacity.
The other 90% is locked away in your subconscious mind.
Actually everything you have ever experienced or known is in your subconscious mind.
Including every single thought, word and every song and every loving act performed. Your subconscious is a huge storage of all your past experience with overwhelming influence on all your actions and reactions. Most of us are not aware of the subconscious or its tremendous power to bring success and happiness into our lives. Changes of behavior have to occur here where they were established in the first place.
One gets a better picture now about how our minds operate.

Clinical Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool to change an old belief system, which stops us from fully enjoying our life, into a new and positive one.
It can be very therapeutic and a very good break away from our stressed filled world to assist self-improvement.

After a session most Hypnotherapist will give the client a recording to listen to. By listening to this repeatedly, new neural pathways in the brain are being created. Over time the old neural pathways (with old behavior patterns) will eventually break down and get flushed out.
A good hypnotherapist will also teach self-hypnosis and other NLP tools.
You may be interested to know that Hypnotherapy was accepted in the 1950’s already by the British and American Medical Association.

It’s the opposite of meditation where your empty your mind, with hypnotherapy you are filling your mind with positive suggestions.

The more commitment from the client the better the outcome 🙂

I hope you found this helpful. You are welcome to ask more questions if you like.
If there is something holding you back in life, try Hypnotherapy and see what it can do for you!
You know what? Most of us have room for self improvement….

In the next post, I will give you some ideas, clinical hypnotherapy can help with 😉
